My journey began in 2002 — I was tired of being overweight and out of shape. Having tried almost every diet gimmick out there, I decided to try to lose weight the “old fashioned” way: by making healthy choices in my life. I changed my life by changing my lifestyle.

I come from a background of lots of food and no activity so I learned how to “eat to live” and love exercise. It wasn’t easy, but I started with small steps - things I knew I could do without too much sacrifice. Eventually I was doing more and more and enjoying it too!

I lost 100 pounds and have kept it off since!

Key Skills include Weight and resistance training, flexibility and cardiovascular training, weight management, & program implementation.
